Rural Property Specialists in Oxfordshire & Berkshire
Our Oxford office is at Sunrise Hill Yard in East Ilsley, on the A34 between Oxford and Newbury. From there, BCM Wilson Hill’s rural consultancy team advises farmers, landowners, estates, developers and homeowners across Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Newbury and West Berkshire. Rural property is what drives this office. When your plans also call for planning, design, sales or commercial lettings, specialists from across the firm work alongside the Oxford team, so you get joined-up advice from a single firm.
We bring a blend of energy, expertise and experience to every instruction. We never lose sight of the fact that our job is to serve our clients’ needs, not a corporate agenda.

Rural Consultancy
The countryside between Oxford and Newbury, from the Berkshire Downs to the Thames Valley, holds some of the region’s finest farmland and estates. Our RICS regulated team advises farmers, landowners and estate owners across Oxfordshire and Berkshire on:
- Estate and farm management
- Valuations including RICS Red Book valuations and opinions of value
- Farm business advice and diversification
- Agricultural and landlord and tenant matters
Our clients always come first. We take the time to understand your land and your long-term plans, then give practical advice you can rely on.

Commercial Lettings
Redundant barns, yards and farm buildings can often be turned into dependable income. Our commercial lettings team helps landowners across Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and West Berkshire let offices, workshops, storage and diversified rural buildings. We advise on rents and lease terms, find suitable occupiers and manage the tenancy once it is in place.

Planning & Development
Working alongside planning colleagues from across the firm, we help clients in Oxfordshire and Berkshire make the most of their property. We cover rural building conversions, diversification schemes, new homes and strategic land promotion. We understand the planning landscape across the Vale of White Horse, South Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and West Berkshire. That includes the constraints of the North Wessex Downs National Landscape and the Green Belt. Our advice is honest and straight-talking, so your scheme has the best chance of success.

Architectural Design
Our architectural design team works with clients across Oxfordshire, Newbury, Wiltshire, West Berkshire and the Berkshire Downs. We design barn conversions, sensitive extensions and individual new homes that sit comfortably in their setting. We work hand in hand with our planners to carry your project from first concept through to completion.
